Peacefully, surrounded by family at Hospice Wellington, Guelph on December 26, 2023, Sandra Iwaniw (nee Dobie) of Carleton Place, formerly of Glencoe passed away in her 76th year. Survived by her daughters Katie (Brad) Muller of Elmira and Krista (John) Newton of Carleton Place. She will be greatly missed by her grand-children Kenzie and Raewyn Muller and Ewan, Emmelia and Angus Newton. Also survived by her brother John (Barb) Dobie, sister-in-law Carol Wade and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces. Predeceased by her Parents John and Georgeana Dobie and brother Doug. Sandra will be fondly remembered by , the CPHS community her Mississippi Golf Club friends, Gord Kelly and her many fur friends. Following Sandra’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6th 2024 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 192, 177 George Street, Carleton Place, ON from 1pm – 4pm. A private family graveside service will take place at Oakland Cemetery, Glencoe at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Wellington.
