On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Norman Frederick Simpson of Glencoe passed away suddenly at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, at the age of 73. Norm was a hard-working and dedicated man, known for his passion for autos and racing, which brought him joy throughout his life. He also served his community with devotion, volunteering for 25 years with the fire department. Norm was beloved for his sense of humour, which brightened the lives of everyone around him. Norm was a loving father who cherished his children, Kyle (Becky), Troy (Wandee) and Anna (Tony). He adored his grandchildren, Lauren, Will, and Maxwell, who brought light to his life. Norm is also survived by his siblings, Rob (Mirah), Brian (Joanna) and Sheila (Stan), as well as many nieces, nephews, their families and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Doug and Edna Simpson. In keeping with Norm’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a family graveside service was held at St. Peters Cemetery, Tyrconnell. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 2-5 at the Glencoe Agricultural Hall. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation.

At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Sunday August 24, 2025 , Al Hartford passed away at the age of 94. Predeceased by his wife Gert. Survived by his son Bill (Karin Goods) Hartford of Melbourne and his daughter Jo-Anne (John) Stec of Mt. Brydges. Also survived by his grandchildren Shawn and Sheri . Al will be missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family. Following Al’s wishes cremation has taken place and interment will be held at Stone’s Cemetery, Percy Ontario. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Glencoe Legion Branch #219 Tuesday, October 7th from 1-4pm.

Peacefully at Country Terrace, Komoka on Saturday, September 13, 2025 , Sharon Elizabeth Rogers (nee DeGraw) passed away in her 82 year. Predeceased by her husband Joseph(2011) and her sons Joe (2019) and Tim (2021) . Dear mother to Ben (Arlene) Rogers and Lesia Rogers . Beloved grandma to Amber, Ben Jr., Sharon, Crystal and the late Erick. Sharon will be missed by her brother Duncan (Norma) DeGraw many nieces and nephews and special family friend Beth Huston-Blair. Following Sharon’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes st., Glencoe on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 12 Noon with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment to follow at the Longwoods Cemetery, Melbourne. Memorial Donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
