The family of John Martin Rogers is sad to announce his passing after losing a lengthy battle with cancer, while in his 79 th year, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Four Counties Health Services. “Jack” is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Doreen (nee Pugh), and his children John (Helen) and Cathie Rich (Brent). He will be missed by his grandchildren Laurie (Adrian), Nicole, Julie (Jason), John, Kristi, Whitney (Tom), Nathan, step grandchildren Sarah, Jordan, Ashley (Serge) and Austin (Bianca), great grandchildren Chloe, Kassidy, Kyrie, Rowan, Derek, Emily, Genevieve, and step great grandchildren Isabella and Ryann. Predeceased by siblings Ann Arsenault (Ken), Joseph (Sharon), Sandra Shearer (Carl). We wish to extend our thanks to the staff of Four Counties Hospital and the London Regional Cancer Program. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Monday, from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 1:30 p.m. Cheryl Bolton to officiate with interment to follow at Longwood Cemetery.
