At St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, April 25, 2024, Jack McCoubrey of London passed away at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Janet (Hurley) and dear father of Molly. Proud grandfather of Max. Son of the late Ray and Noreen (McBrien) McCoubrey. Dear brother of late Bev Slater (Allan), Marilyn Carnegie (late Frank) and Jim McCoubrey (Deborah). Jack will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and many friends. In keeping with Jack’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at the Alvinston Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 10th at the Caradoc Community Centre, 565 Lions Park Drive, Mount Brydges from 1-4 p.m. Words of Remembrance at 1 p.m followed by a reception. Jack was a true farmer and he loved his rural roots and all things farming. He was always eager to share his passion of agriculture with youth so memorial donations may be made to a Bursary being created for a 4H initiative for youth.
