At Beattie Manor, Wardsville, on Friday, November 21, 2025, Doretha Hick formerly of Glencoe passed away in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Kenneth Hick. Dear mother of Ian (Julaine) Hick, Jane (Jamie) Gould and Roger Hick. Loved by her grandchildren Eddie (Wendy) Gould, Ben (Roxanne) Gould, Joel Gould, Angela Summers (Graham) Robert Hick (Amy) and her great-grandchildren MacKenzee, Dylan, Jayden Josh, Taylor, Beau and Knox. Predeceased by her 2 brothers Howard and Donald and sister Virginia. Survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral Service will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Wednesday, November 26 at 11 a.m. Rev. Cheryl Bolton officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service (10-11 a.m.). Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation.
