At Chatham Kent Health Alliance, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, Ivan Kellestine passed away in his 84th year. Predeceased by his wife Linda (2018). Dear father of late infant daughter Tara Lee, Denise Kirkpatrick (Steven), Angela Kellestine and Jacqui Kellestine. Loving grandfather of Derek, Craig (Jayee), Devon (Sam), Natasha, Carson, Ethan and Eli and great-grandfather of Anna Marie. Fondly remembered by his sister Betty-Ann, brother-in-law Bill and Elaine Andrew and extended family and friends. Ivan lived life boldly, with a stubborn spirit and a deep love for family, always doing things his own way. He worked hard over the years, building a life through farming, fixing, and helping others whenever he could. He will be remembered for his unique outlook on life, his stories, and the special connection he shared with his children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends will be received at the Melbourne Royal Canadian Legion Br.510 On Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1pm to 4 pm (casual attire is requested). A private family interment will be held at Longwoods Cemetery, Melbourne. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation.
