Peacefully at Sumac Lodge on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, Ian Carman McKellar of Alvinston passed away in his 89th year. Father of the late Robert (2022) and Betty McKellar and Keith McKellar. Proud grandfather of Carman and Courtney McKellar. Dear brother to Marilyn Ingleby (late Chris) and Beth Henderson (late Bill and late Denis Collins). Ian will be missed by his nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends and relatives. Predeceased by his parents Stanley & Mildred McKellar and his brother Donald and sister-in-law Juanita McKellar. Ian was a life-long farmer in Brooke Township and spent several years working in the oil fields in Alberta. Following Ian’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at the Alvinston Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to Hope United Church or charity of your choice.
