Peacefully at Middlesex Terrace, Delaware on April 22 , 2026, Dennis Eves passed away in his 74th year. Beloved husband to Dorothy (nee Hibma) . Loving father to Michelle (Joe Rombouts) Eves and Angela (Timothy) Gallant. Caring grandfather “Gramps” to Dawson, Madi (Blake), Shania (Riley), Dylan, Joey (Shawn) , Cameron (Shaylin) , Lauryn ( Sebas). Dennis will be missed by his sister Sandra (Gary) Watson, his brother Gary (Lucy) Eves and by his siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Evelyn Eves and his parents-in-law Ids and Alice Hibma. Dennis was a mechanic through and through — from the time he could walk, he always had a tool in his hand. He built a life doing what he loved. Running Eves Auto Sales from his home and Glencoe, where he was known for selling cars, boats, and just about anything he could get his hands on. He also did autobody, painting, licensed appraiser, licensed auctioneer, and a Used car Dealer. He took pride in working with the OPP and local community for the preferred on call towing service he provided. He also had a true gift as an auctioneer, especially known for his role at the Brooke Alvinston Fair, where he brought energy, laughter, and excitement while auctioning off 4-H swine and pies — something many will fondly remember. He was a diehard Killer Bees Fan, loved being on the water, watching his girls and grandkids playing ball, and spending time with all his loved ones. Dennis loved riding his Harley, spending time on his boat “Moonliter” with his boating family and friends. He was a one-of-a-kind guy, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. A jack of all trades! He truly will be missed by all his family and friends.
