At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, April 13, 2013, Ethel May Huxley (Down) of Glencoe at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Norman Huxley (2004). Dear mother of Timothy and his wife Gail, Robert and his wife Annie, Sharron Huxley, Graham and his wife Tracy. Loved by her grandchildren, Ben (Anne), Julien, Sarah, Zachary, Connor, Seth, Craig (Jen) and Tara (Bryan) and by her 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother George Down. Predeceased by her granddaughter Stephanie Huxley and her sister Rose Watson. Ethel was an active member of St. John’s Anglican Church and until recently an Avon Sales Associate in the Glencoe area. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Friday from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. when the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Kim Metelka officiating. Interment to follow at the Appin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. John’s Anglican Church (Chair Lift Project).
