Peacefully at Brookside Retirement Living on Monday, May 29, 2023, Elizabeth Anne Spearman passed away at age 100. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Spearman (2003). Loving mother of Grant (Corrie) of Truro, NS, Marianne (Herb) Krumm of St Thomas and Linda Spearman of London. Predeceased by sons Dennis (1971) and Gary (2018). Cherished grandmother of Heather (Mackenzie) King of Ottawa and Michael (Jennifer) Spearman of Bedford, NS. Great-grandmother to Ivan and Ethan Spearman and Owen King. Predeceased by her parents David and Eva (Smith) Gentleman, her sisters Marjorie (Maurice) Alderman, Kathryn (Claire) Bridges, Mildred (Bob) Jackson, brothers Bertram and James (Norma) Gentleman, brother-in-law Ken (Wilma) Spearman and sister-in-law Gladys (Harvey) Elliott. Interment will take place at Alvinston Cemetery with a private family service at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff of Brookside Retirement Living for their exceptional and loving care for 20 years, as well as Dr. Maddison of St Joseph’s Hospice Palliative Care Clinic in Sarnia.
