At Afton Park Place, Sarnia on Saturday, October 17, 2015, Shirley L. Gorrie (nee Welch) of Sarnia passed away in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husband Donald Gorrie. Dear mother of Donald Font (late Mary Jane), Cheryl Dunn (Mike), Karen Waller (late Rick), late Bill Font and grandmother of Jennifer Font, Jeremy Font, Troy Waller and Zachary Font and great grandmother of Rachel and Kaiden. Stepmother of late Wayne Gorrie (Sue) and their son Jason Gorrie. Survived by one brother Donald Welch. Predeceased by her siblings, Jim Welch, Helen Bobier, Dorothy Innes, Bertha Willson and Norman Welch. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes street, Glencoe on Tuesday, October 20 from 1-2 p.m. where the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
