At Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, Roy Samuel Smith formerly of Alvinston passed away in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife Florence (Campbell) (2007). Dear father of John (Brenda) Smith and Susan Cook. Father-in-law of Glen Cook. Loved by his grandchildren Regan (Angela) Smith, Jordan Smith (Megan), Joel Smith (Morgan), Brandyn (Nichole) Cook, Dustin Cook (Maelynn) and Troy Cook (Melanie) and great grandchildren Mason and Parker Smith. Predeceased by his sister Lois Johnston. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1 at 11 a.m. Rev.
