Pauline Campbell

Heaven welcomed home an Angel. Paula’s devotion to her family and her lifelong belief in God, supported her and ultimately gave her peace. Forever loved by daughters, Ruth Ann (Arnold) McCallum, Mary (Dave) Irving and Paula (Roli) Benoit.  She was blessed with and loved deeply by 8 grandchildren, Sara, Melissa, Christine, Jason, Josh, Paul, Karen and Lisa, and 16 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister Mary Phair. Predeceased by infant son Paul Douglas Campbell, parents William and Pansy Morley and sister Marie Lamb. She was manager for many years at South Windsor Knights of Columbus where she was well known for creating memorable weddings and other events. She treasured her many long lasting friendships made there.  Paula and Dan (Renaud), her partner and “best bud” of many years shared a love and passion for St Joes Island where they spent many happy years learning and loving the area and fellow islanders. It was there that they found their own “little piece of Heaven”.  She will be cherished and remembered always for her endearing acts of kindness and desire to ensure that everyone in need was cared for. She and Dan enjoyed being members of the Lions Club on the island and became an important part of the Holy Trinity Parish family. She was welcomed with open arms by St Matthews Anglican Church in Windsor.  Pauline will be remembered for her amazing capacity to love, her compassion and faithfulness, her love of cooking, her wit, a contagious smile and those beautiful sparkling blue eyes. Condolences, prayers and memories are welcome online at Van Heck Funeral Home where a family service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to Holy Trinity Church, Richards Landing or St Matthews Anglican Church, Windsor or Guthrie Presbyterian Church in Alvinston, in her honour would be greatly appreciated.  In a world where you can be anything, follow her lead, be kind.
