Surrounded by her children at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy on Sunday, January 19 , 2025 Nola Tait Passed away in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband James Tait (1994) , son Peter (1978) and her friend and special companion John Kuchta(2021) . Beloved mother of David (Donna), Rick Tait, and Nancy (Gary) Sorko. Dear grandmother to Jason, Melissa (Erik), Leanne, Adam (Gislaine), Abby (Christian), Bo (Laura), Jerry (Tracey) and great-grandmother to Kaylee, Milana, Leah, Olivia, Jamie, Natalie, Lily, Trent, Orra, Freya, Ryder, Ryver. Nola will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nola found joy in her life on the farm in Brooke Township, where she and her husband Jim worked together to make it flourish. After spending many years as a librarian at the Inwood library, her passion for reading blossomed alongside her talent for writing poetry. In her later years Nola travelled extensively with her companion John Kuchta. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Pastor Dick Erik van Dorsten officiating with interment to follow at Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Guthrie Presbyterian Church, Alvinston.
