At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, December 25, 2021, with his brother at his side Mitch Scheerer of Glencoe passed away in his 65th year. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Mary Scheerer and sister Judith. Dear brother of Chuck Scheerer (Jackie), uncle of Kelly Marie and great uncle of Shae-Lynn. Mitch will be missed by his many friends and his cat Charlie. He was a retired employee of 42 years of Tender Tootsies Group, member of Glencoe Lions Club and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 219, Glencoe. Visitation will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance is limited. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Pre-registration is required for EVERYONE. Masks and social distancing from the family and those around them is also required. Private family memorial service will be held with inurnment at the Appin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Glencoe.
