Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Margaret “Jean” McAllister passed away in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her partner Gordon Empey (2013). Mother to Susanne, Patty, Jackie, and the late Billy. Jean will be missed by her family, friends and loved ones. Following Jean’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Four Counties Health Service Foundation.
