Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on February 28, 2012 Jean Lucan of Alvinston, in her 75th year. Pre-deceased by her husband John in 1997. Loving Mom of A. Daniel Lucan, John D. (Barb) Lucan, Cathy (Gary) Johnson, Thomas S. (Debora) Lucan and Lorri Ann Lucan. A special Grammy, she will be missed by her Grandchildren Michael, Bryan & Katie Johnson, Devon, Brennan & Jocelyn Lucan and Lexis & Jordon Morley. Jean is survived by her sisters Trudy Downie, Rita Kennedy and Joanne Cross. She is pre-deceased by her siblings Andrew, Wilhelmina, John, Martin, Margaret, Theresa and Cora. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with parish prayers at 8:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00am at Our Lady Help of Christian’s Church, 432 Victoria Street, Watford. Fr. Gerard Bedard officiating with interment to follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Alvinston. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Oneida Long Term Care Centre (cheques made payable to: Tsi’ Nu: Yoyantle Na’ T^huwatisni).
