Peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, Doris “Ioleen” Redick (nee Vokes) of Alvinston passed away in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Charles (Chuck) Redick (1981). Loving mother of Bob (Anne) Redick. Predeceased by her son Bill (2006) and his wife Diane (2012), her daughter Nina (2011) (Don Sutherland), her son Doug (1995) (Pat Redick) and 2 grandsons Brian Redick (1990) and Kevin Redick (2001). Special grandma to Brenda (Darryl) Elliott, Judy (Raymond) Dupuis, Jim (Jen) Redick, Karen (Joe) Rombouts, Sherry (Dave) Sutherland-Kennedy, Keith (Cindy) Sutherland, Shawn (Samantha) Redick, Kris (Stephanie) Redick. Loved by her 20 great grandchildren; Ashley (Nathan) Forsythe, Brittany and Tiffany Elliott, Matt, Megan and Julia Redick, Brandon and Cassie Dupuis, Mackenzie, Nicholas and Vanessa Rombouts, Erica and Janna Kennedy, Erinn and Turner Sutherland, Kaitlyn Redick-Cable, Tanner and Sydney Redick, Blake and Dylan Redick. Also survived by her brother, Lorne Vokes (Mona), special cousin Virginia, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. She is predeceased by her sister Leone (Wes) McMahen and sister-in-law Marion Vokes. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes street, Glencoe on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and for the hour prior to the funeral to be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery.
