The family announces with great sadness, the passing of Frances Matilda Ryan on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Parkwood Hospital, London. Born July 6, 1935. Daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine (O’Connor) Eckert, Seaforth ON. Fran was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a wonderful homemaker, fabulous cook and was happiest while enjoying a meal surrounded with family and friends, that she had prepared. She was warm, with a kind and gentle heart and a million dollar smile. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories; her loving soul mate of forty years, John Leitch, her children, Gary (Florence), Stephen (Evelyn), Lawrence (Wendy), Geraldine Catherine, Vincent (Tracey) and Theresa-Lynn Robertson her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters, Rosemary Rhodes and Anne (Peter) Mahu. She is predeceased by her youngest son Sean Patrick (1967), brothers Conrad, Stephen, William and sisters, Dorothy, Geraldine and Judy.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St Patrick Parish, 377 Oakland Ave, London ON, Friday, July 21 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a reception in the parish hall.
