At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, February 26, 2024, Gwendolyn Fay Gray (nee Chittem) of Alvinston passed away in her 99th year. Wife of the late Edward Gray. Dear mother of Bonnie Gray (Declan Mulcahy), late Lenore MacDonell, Gwen Gray (Bedford Taylor) and Jane Parker (late Darell) and an infant son Gordon predeceased. Also survived by her grandchildren Karyn (Ryan Ellis) and Niamh Mulcahy, Heather St. Clair (Chris) and Jessica Parker (Justin VanderTuin) and her great-grandchildren Alice, Leah and Daisy. Predeceased by parents James and Belva (Clements) Chittem, 2 sisters: Luella Stewart and Marion Rankin-Thompson and 1 brother John. In keeping with Fay’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Alvinston Cemetery on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at Hope United Church, Alvinston where the family will receive relatives and friends.
