At her home in Glencoe, on Monday, November 20, 2023 Cynthia Johnson peacefully passed away in her 78th year. Survived by her loving husband Alan Johnson of 60 years (Sept 21, 2023) Dear mother to Steve (Stacey), Dave and Paul (Kathryn). Grandmother to Candace Barrett , Tyler (Emerald) Johnson, Alyna (Kyle) Gellatly, Jessica (Kody) Greene, Alycia (Matt) Prudhomme, Brandon Johnson and Tanner Johnson. Great-grandmother to Chelsey, Holland, Austin, Jackson, Autumn, Grace, Beau, Eleanor and great-great-grandmother to Dwayne. Cynthia enjoyed her time spent with family and cherished watching the grandchildren grow and have children of their own, She was an inspiring example of kindness, love and compassion to all that knew her especially the many nieces and nephews in her life. She enjoyed watching her garden grow and bloom beautiful flowers throughout the summer days. Many of those summer days were spent at Hickory Grove campground in Port Glasgow taking in the breeze off the lake and the warm summer sun. A Celebration of Life will be held at Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Saturday December 2nd, 2023. Visitation to begin at 2 pm with a short memorial service to be held at 3pm.
