At Watford Quality Care Centre on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 Catharina “Cathy” (Dieleman) Mareels formerly of Byron passed away in her 85th year. Predeceased by husband John Mareels (1995), Son Dirk (1988) and granddaughter Alicia (2012). Survived by her son Paul Mareels (Jaclyn). Dear grandma of Zach, Jacob, Chad (Helen), Jan, Jason McArthur (Rachelle) and Travis McArthur (Annie). One sister Jannie Dees of Holland. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at Watford Quality Care Centre for their exceptional care. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe, Rev. Jim Breen officiating. Visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. Private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.
