Peacefully with her family at her side at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, September 24, 2015, Anna Van Burgsteden of Wardsville in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Jacobus Hendrikus “Jim” Van Burgsteden in 2003. Beloved mother of Rita Vanderwerf, Henry (Patricia) Van Burgsteden, Bill (Mara) Van Burgsteden and Jacquie (Richard) Robinson. Dear grandmother of Robert (Hanna), Karen (Manuel), Danielle (Jimmy), Mark (Kelly), Sonya, Devan, Grant, Andrew and James. Also survived by her brother Henk Van Hamersveld. Predeceased by brothers and sisters, Cornelis, Johanna, Toni, Everard and Kees. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella Street, Glencoe on Monday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. D. Matthew Bedard officiating. Interment to follow at the North American Martyrs Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation (Palliative Care).
