Peacefully at Babcock Community Care Centre, Wardsville on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, Shirley Lumley (nee Smith) of Wardsville passed away in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Elmer “Mick” Lumley and her son Darrell and his wife Tina. Dear mother of Cathy Lumley (Herb) and Lorri Wardell (Joe). Loving sister of Wendy Smith (Gary) and Kevin (Goretti) and the late Douglas “Fred”, Peggy and Ken. Visitation will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Friday, August 28th from 2-4 p.m. Private family inurnment at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Southwest Middlesex Animal Shelter.
