At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Tuesday August, 11, 2026, Cornelius Wilson “Neil” Lambert of Seasons and formerly of Melbourne passed away in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy (2009). Dear father of Doug and Fran, Jeff and Brenda, Greg and Kelly, Kirk and Michelle and Scott. Loving grandfather of Krista (Matt), Shelley (Jordan), Jason (Kathryn), Jennifer, Justin (Elaine), Chad (Leah), Kaitlin (Jim), Britni (Will) and Mathew (Ashely) and great-grandfather of Evan, Benson, Jaxon, Jocelyn, Samantha, Carson, Riley, Austin, Brady, Beau, Axel, Remi, Theo, Emma, Peyton, Paisley and Oaklynn. Also survived by his brother Bruce and special friend Dorothy Kilgour and family. Predeceased by his sister Mary and 2 brothers Glenn and J.C. In keeping with Neil’s wishes cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 22, 2026 from 1-4 p.m. at the Melbourne Legion. Memorial donations may be made to the New Melbourne United Church.
