At University Hospital, London on Sunday, March 31, 2024, Velma Olive Anderson (nee Stanley) went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on this glorious Easter morning in her 95th year. Much beloved mother to Robert (Mary Jane) and Ray (Ann). Velma was the sweet and loving grandmother to Ashley (Nathan) Davenport, Adam (Rachelle) Anderson, Andrea (Galen) Trafford, Derek (Elisha) Mercer and Myles Mercer. Special great Grandmother to Emmalee, Joshua and Madalyn Davenport, Brynlee and Blake Anderson and Grady and Brychan Trafford. Survived by her sister Jean (Ollie) Hoffmeyer and her sister-in-law Bessie Stanley as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Viola Stanley, her sisters Marlene Colling and Mabel Stanley and her brothers George, Ray, Clarke and Roy Stanley. A private family graveside service will be held at Medway Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Bible Society.
