At Parkwood Hospital, London, on Monday, April 28, 2014, Melvin “Rick” Passmore of Alvinston passed away after a long battle with brain cancer at the age of 60 years. Survived by his loving wife Susan Passmore, daughter Stephanie and sons Chris and Peter and his 4 grandsons, his sister Coree and 2 brothers, Pat and Jay (Mary). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews and a special good bye from Michael, Tara and Katie. Predeceased by his parents Melvin Frederick and Molly Passmore and a brother Gordon. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River St., Alvinston. Visitation from 1-2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
