It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of Daphne Dee McClure at the age of 61 of Muirkirk. Daphne was born in Quebec, then later planted her roots in Southwestern Ontario. Daphne was born to the parents Clara (Robert) Aulis of Newbury and Charles (Mavis) McClure of Quebec. Daphne is survived by her husband Ron Rudorfer of 28 years.  Dear mother to Shadoe Easton of Chatham, step children Jessica Rudorfer (Mike) of Blenhiem, Josh (Jessica) Rudorfer of Duart. Her grandchildren, who she loved dearly Taven & Dominic Easton, Jordyn, Benjamin & Colton Rudorfer and Cameron Jacobson. She is survived by her siblings Curtis McClure of Strathroy, Sharyl Whittington of Chatham, Nancy McClure of Quebec, Tara McClure of Quebec, Robert (Mary-Jo) of British Columbia & Grant Aulis of Glencoe. Daphne is predeceased by her brothers Phillip, Lorin & Wendell. Daphne will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. Daphne and Ron spent several years together. Over those years if you were to visit you would definitely hear some of Daphne’s famous one liners, like put a sock in it, to the moon and Knot be knowing. Daphne loved her plants and flowers, especially morning glories and sitting around with friends and family having a few cold ones. As per Daphne’s wishes there will be no funeral and cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 (details to follow). In memory of Daphne, donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program or a charity of your choice.
