Robert ‘Cecil’ Maddock, of R.R. 7 Alvinston passed peacefully at Watford Quality Care on Monday, December 28, 2015 at age 90. Beloved husband of Mildred (Nickels) for 64 years. Dear father of Mary Jane Maddock, Helen Maddock and Norma Hick. Cherished grandfather of Angela Hick and Robert Hick. Predeceased by his parents Basil and Ella Maddock, sister Florence (Louis) Yori and brother Donald Maddock. Survived by sister-in-law Betty Maddock. A lifetime farmer of Brooke Township, he will be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Funeral service will be held at Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston, Ontario on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 am followed by interment at Alvinston Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed by donation to Guthrie Presbyterian Church, Alvinston or the charity of your choice.
