Suddenly at her home on Sunday, September 13, 2026, Marilyn Elaine (Vosbourgh) Merriam of Newbury in her 71st year. Wife of the late Melvin (2018). Daughter of the late Kenneth Vosbourgh and the late Goldie and Harry Armstrong. Loving mother of Gwen (Bob) McNaughton-Baine of Elliott Lake, Rhonda (Scott) Sutherland of Newbury and Shawn (Tara) Merriam of Chatham. Devoted grandma of Lauren, Cody (Kira), Ty, Olivia and Ryan and cherished nana of Luke & Levi (arriving soon). Also survived by special brother-in-law Joe and Irene (Gordon) Ramey, Ruth (James) Driessens, Jack, Darlene (Danny) Ameel, Dan (Wilma) and Stanley. Marilyn will be missed by many friends, nephews, nieces and cousins. Predeceased by Norma (Jim) Shaw, Fred, Bill and her in-laws Jim, Viola and Dorothy. Memorial Service to Celebrate the lives of Marilyn and Melvin will be held Monday, September 21st at 11 a.m. at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe. Visitation one hour prior to the service ( 10 to 11 a.m.). Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Guthrie Presbyterian Church, Alvinston.
