At The Village of Glendale Crossing, London on July 19, 2025, E. Virginia “Ginny” Gerencser (nee Garlick) passed away in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband George Gerencser (2008) and her sons George Jr. (1975) and Robert (2014). Survived by her son Dave (Gwen) and daughter-in-law Jane. Her grandchildren Ashley, Laura (Jarred) , Nick (Ashley), Adam (Katarina). Her great-grandchildren Rosie, Charlotte, Bennett, Liliana. Also survived by her brother Brian Garlick (Tim Shireman) and sisters-in-law Shirley (John) Mitchell and family, and Annette Dutton and family. Predeceased by her parents Charles Garlick, and Marie and Kenneth Lott, her bother Larry Garlick and brother-in-law D’Arcy Dutton. Ginny was known for her big heart and friendly personality. She would never miss an opportunity to say hello to anyone who walked by. Her family would like to thank the staff at Glendale Crossing for the kindness and exceptional care they offered. It really showed in her last days with extra visits from PSWs, nurses and all support staff. Ginny truly considered the Glendale community as part of her extended family. Following Ginny’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Tilbury.
