Ursula Krahn

It is with deep sadness that we announce Ursula’s peaceful passing at Parkwood Palliative Care in London, ON, Friday, April 7, 2023. Devoted wife of the late Withold (2007). Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Hildegard Wolter. Loving mother to Ed (Marie) and Esther (John). Cherished Oma to Hayley, David (Samantha), Marlee (Cory), Steven (Taylor), Karsten (Nicole). Great grandma to Karter, Neely, William, Amalija, and Naomi. Dear sister of Ingrid (Lorie) and the late Hannelore. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and former clients.  A private graveside service was held. Born in East Germany she immigrated to Canada May 1957, landing at Pier 21 in Halifax.  Ursula studied to be an RNA that turned into a career of a broad range of caregiving.  She had a deep faith in God and readily shared it with anyone she came into contact with.  A shining example of selflessness, she touched the lives of many.  We are comforted knowing she is rejoicing in heaven. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Faith Pentecostal Assembly, 259 Main Street, Glencoe, Ontario at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Bethel Park Bible Camp Society (www.bethelpark.ca/donate) or GTM Zambian Sonshine an orphanage in Zambia that meant a lot to Ursula.
