Peacefully with family by his side at University Hospital, London on Friday, January 25, 2019, Robert “Bob” Aldred of London passed away in his 91styear. Survived by his loving wife Estelle (Wall) of 64 years. Father of Mary Anne (Pierre L’Abbé) Aldred of Toronto, Christopher Aldred of Bothwell, Janice (Rob) Van Dasler of London. Loved by his 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Simone, Geneviève, Andrew and Ian. Survived by brother Donald Aldred and his nieces and nephews David (Lisa) Aldred, Rob Aldred, Julie (Greg) Conley, John (Karen) Saunders and Barb (Dale) Axford. Predeceased by his brother Fred, sister Ruth, sister in-law Jean Saunders, brother in-law Ross Saunders and nephew James Saunders. Bob was a dedicated teacher and department head for over 25 years at Oakridge Secondary School and A.B. Lucas Secondary School. Bob was known for his sense of humour and his love of his family. Following Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
