At Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown on Monday, July 23, 2018, Evelyn Isabell Oke (nee Hansford) of R.R. 6 Alvinston passed away in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Gordon Oke. Dear mother of Robert (Jo) Oke and Linda Oke. Fondly remembered by her cousin Elizabeth Gillespie. Predeceased by her brother George Hansford. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 3232 River Street, Alvinston on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 11 a.m. Rev. Michael Burns officiating. Interment Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Burns Presbyterian Church or Arthritis Society.
