At Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on Friday, October 10, 2014, Donald Charles Myers of Brooke Twp., in his 88th year. Beloved husband of 60 years to Evelyn (McGugan) Myers. Dear father of Debra Bender and her husband Ken. Brother of Willa Johnston (late Nelson), late Phylis (late Ross) Johnston, Jean Johnston (late Lloyd), late John Myers (Nancy) and Bernice Pringle (Cliff) and brother-in-law of late Marie McBain (Murray) and Ray (Jessie) McGugan. Several nieces and nephews and their families also survive. Visitation Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River Street, Alvinston where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Jim Breen officiating. Interment to follow at the Alvinston Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hope United Church
