Suddenly at his home in Appin, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, David Hosie, passed away in his 88thyear. Cherished father to Kim (Tom) McCullough, Lori Hosie (Phil Robb) and Paul Hosie. Loving grandpa to David (Michelle) McCullough, Derek (Rebecca) McCullough, and Denver. “Papa the Great” to Rachel, Dawson and Grayson. Dear brother to Faith Hosie, Beryl Hosie, Gerald (Sandy) Hosie , and Grace Esch. Predeceased by his brother Jim Hosie, brother-in-law Ed Esch, and daughter Debbie Hosie. Dave enjoyed his days operating the garage on Main Street Glencoe, racing cars and snowmobiles. In retirement, he enjoyed reminiscing about racing days with friends and family, providing guidance and support to his grandchildren’s love of racing and watching his great-grandchildren play and grow. He will be missed by his loyal pet Tommy. Visitation at Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe, on Thursday, April 21thfrom 7pm to 9 pm. where the funeral service will be held on Friday April 22 at 11 a.m. with a visitation 1 hour prior. Rev.
