Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, June 28, 2025, Richard DePelsmaeker of Newbury passed away in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (Soudant) for 57 years. Dear father of Sandra (David) Walker, Doug, Lori (Josh McMillan) and Chris. Loved by his grandchildren Tyler, Taylor, Courtney, Courtlyne, Raquel, Sabrina and Talen and his great-grandchildren Oliver, Isla, Aubrey, Blaine, Kiera and Myka. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his 2 brothers Joe (Marietta) and Frank (Donna). Visitation Tuesday, July 1st from 5-7 p.m. at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes street, Glencoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Garnier Church, 244 Stella Ave, Glencoe on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. (Visitation at the church from 10-11 a.m.). Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation or Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre.
