Dear father of Rhonda (David) Day and Colleen Gillies (Ron Jeffery) all of Watford and loving grandfather of Jordan, Jalen, Lukas, Dana, Jessalyn and Alec. Also survived by his sisters and brothers, Evelyn Dowdell, Sharon Basic, Alvin (Marg) and Eugene (Sheila) Gillies. Dear friend of Beverly Clark. Predeceased by his parents Duncan and Evelyn. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes St., Glencoe on Saturday, January 18 from 1-2 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Make a Wish Foundation.
