Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, May 25, 2024, with family, John Daniel “Jack” Jeffery of Ekfrid Twp. passed away in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Jo-Ann for 65 years. Dear father of Vicki Griffith (Mike Thurber), John (Aliesha) Jeffery, Jane Perry, Susan (Robert) McWilliam, Linda (Rick) Tofflemire, Glen (Christine) Jeffery. Loved by his grandchildren Jennifer, Peter (Trena), Cole (Lindsay), Dan (Pauline), Dawna, Mary Jo (Rob), Jason (Caitlin), Lauren, Lindsay (Shane), Ryan (Caitlyn), Kyle (Jocelyn), Ian, Sam and James and 32 great-grandchildren. Jack is also survived by his sister Ann (Mac) Lilley and brother Tom Jeffery and 2 sisters-in-law Marylee and Gale and many nieces and nephews will fondly remember him. Predeceased by 3 brothers George, Warren and Murry. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29,2024 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Amanda MacMillan officiating. Interment to follow at the Longwood Cemetery, Melbourne. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation or Guthrie Presbyterian Church (Melbourne).
