Peacefully at his home in Glencoe on Thursday, August 10, 2023, Doug Black passed away in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Gerry. Dear father of James Black, Rodger Thyssen, Jen Rankin (Dennis Wilson) and the late Brenda Thyssen. Survived by his grandchildren Serena, Sydney, Ashley, Alysia, Austin, Adam, Amber and Ava and great-grand son Jensen as well as his brothers Don Black (Audrey), Percy Black (Marie), Jonny Black and sister Gladys Sureau. Predeceased by his sister Robin Forntier and brother Lorne Black. A Private family interment at the Oakland Cemetery, Glencoe. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at London Free Reform Church, 1274 Tote Road, London. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada.
