With family by her side, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Thursday, June 15, 2017 Doris Velma Kemp of Glencoe passed away in her 63rd year. Loved and remembered by Ken Grover, her children, Chad (Michelle) Kemp, Charity (Kevin) Moniz and Shelby Kemp, her grandchildren Aubrey, Adyson, Kole and Cooper, her extended family, Teresa Grover (Mike Kelley), Martin (Barbara) Grover and Emily and Lauren. Also survived by her father Arthur McGaffey, sister Laurie (Roger) LaPointe and brother Jim McGaffey. She is predeceased by her mother Velma in 2007. Doris was a dedicated bus driver and was a “mother to all the kids on the bus.” Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, June 19 at 11 a.m. Rev. Deb Dolbear-Van Bilsen officiating. Interment to follow at the Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Make a Wish – Southwestern Ontario.
