Donald Timbers

timbersPeacefully at his residence, in Caradoc Township, Donald McPhee Timbers passed away in his 83rd year. Born and raised in Milton and Georgetown by Ernest and Margaret. He was a farmer all his life, having owned his own hog farm in the village of Paisley from 1988 to 2007. Beloved husband of Fay Timbers (Ward). Loving father of Laura Timbers-Purdy and her husband Charles Purdy. Loved by his grandchildren, Emily and Isabella Purdy, Kevin Onis and Lisa Smith. Also loved by his brothers, Robert Timbers and the Reverend Gordon Timbers and his sons, Scott and Mark and their families. Predeceased by his older brother Ken of Acton and younger brother Garfield (Joe) of Waterdown. Funeral service will be held at the Guthrie Presbyterian Church, Melbourne on Saturday, November 5 at 10 a.m. Rev. Amanda MacMillan officiating. Interment at Lovat Cemetery, Paisley at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Kidney Foundation.
