Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, February 8, 2018 Evelyn Ready (nee Kellestine) of Glencoe passed away in her 77th year, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Will Ready. Dear mother of Michael Scott (Donna) and Bonnie Gillan (Rob Gerhold) and stepmother of Danny Ready and Kelly
White (Ken). Loving grandmother of Megan McLeod (Ian), Luke Scott, Jeremy Gillan (Cristina), Matthew Gillan (Lisa), Stephanie Rizzo (Mike), Hollie Gerhold, Nicole Gerhold, Andrew Gerhold and Kelsie Gerhold and special GG to her great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Shirley Haggith (Ken), Rosemary McRae (David) and Donna Knight (Warren) and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Evelyn will be fondly remembered by the Neve and Ready families. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Clara Kellestine and brothers Albert and Beverly. Evelyn retired from Four Counties Health Services following more than a 30-year nursing career. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m, where the Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12 at 11 a.m. Rev. Amanda MacMillan officiating. Interment to follow at the Appin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services (Palliative Care Unit).
